ITEASc Workshop 2026: cultivating productive interactions across disciplines

I’m excited to be heading to Middelfart on August 17th to give the opening keynote at the ITEASc Workshop 2026, a two-day workshop run by Aarhus University that gathers BSc, MSc, PhD students, and postdocs from AU, Copenhagen, DTU, and SDU to practice interdisciplinary thinking, communication, and project development.

The organizers asked me to talk about “how to cultivate productive interactions across scientific disciplines”. It’s something I have done a whole lot throughout my career … but if I am being honest, I’m not sure what to tell people yet. It’s not something I have a fully fledged theory for. And that’s one of the big reasons I said yes - giving the talk is a chance to reflect on the topic and maybe learn something myself 😅
